General Terms and Conditions

Clear rules are the foundation of a good partnership. Our terms and conditions are easy to understand, fair, and protect both parties. The safety of your belongings and your satisfaction are our top priorities.

1. Introductory provisions and identification

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “GTC”) govern the contractual relationship between Stěhování firem po ČR a EU s.r.o., ID No.: 245 34 731, with its registered office at Školská 660/3, Nové Město, 110 00 Prague 1 (hereinafter referred to as “Provider”), and its customers (hereinafter referred to as “Customer”).

If the Customer is a natural person acting outside the scope of their business activities, they are considered a consumer. Otherwise, the Customer is considered a business entity.

2. Conclusion of the contract

The customer may submit a non-binding inquiry via the online form, email, or by phone. Based on the inquiry, the Provider will prepare a customized quote (cost estimate). The contract is concluded when the Provider confirms the Customer’s binding order.

3. Price, payment terms and sanctions

The estimated price in the quote is based on the current price list. The final price is determined by the actual scope of services. VAT is added to the price.

  • Deposits: The Provider is entitled to request a deposit of up to 100%, particularly for international moves.
  • Payment Terms: Standard payment is made in cash upon completion of the work, unless an invoice has been agreed upon.
  • Late Payment Interest: In the event of a delay, the Provider is entitled to charge interest at a rate of 0.1% of the amount due for each day.

4. Duties and cooperation of the Customer

The Client agrees to provide an access road and parking area at the loading and unloading sites. For safety reasons, the Provider’s employees will not remove their shoes while working. The Client is required to protect the floor surfaces.

5. Withdrawal from the contract and cancellation

The Customer may cancel without giving a reason no later than 24 hours before the scheduled time.

Cancellation fees:

  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before the scheduled time: 30% of the estimated price.
  • Change of schedule by the Provider: If the delay exceeds 3 hours, the Customer is entitled to a 15% discount.

6. Liability for damages and claims

The Provider has liability insurance. Obvious defects and damage must be reported immediately upon completion of the services. The Provider is not liable for damage to items that the Customer packed themselves.
